Filipino runners dominate wacoal motion road 100 marathon

Laem Chabang, Thailand - Filipino runners prevailed over thousands of contenders in the Wacoal Motion Road 100 marathon on October 9, 2016.

In the 100km ultra trail marathon, Jag Lanente places on top while both his colleagues Jared Teves and Joeffrey Tamara ranked fifth and sixth places respectively.

Lanente "the legend" hails from Davao, who loves joining races above 100km and already finished "Spartathlon" 246-kilometre ultramarathon. He has been in Thailand for more than 10 years joining in different marathons all over Thailand and other countries together with Teves, Tamara and others.

However, it is a sad story for the two Filipino runners Sunni Cee and Ghie Toledanes due to early injury they did not finish the 100km race, but two strong women Rhea Ballan and Glenz Tarriman finished their 42km full marathon, while the couple Lee Radel and Irish pearl Tabaranza finished 10km category.
